Strong as a Lion
Christians are considered as lambs among the wolves (Luke 10:3). I recall the scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7. It says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” There is nothing that man can do to us that would separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:39). Paul warned us in Romans 8:35 that we might have to endure tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword; but we would always have God’s love to give us strength. So if you think of a lion as endangered, something weak like a lamb, then you will have no fear of it. For one day the lambs will eat together in God’s kingdom and the lions will eat straw like the lambs (Isaiah 65:25).
