Jesus answered: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Building Upon a Strong Foundation

Christ the Solid Rock

1 Corinthians 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Build upon a strong foundation which is Jesus Christ the Lord.  Christ is the only foundation that you can build upon to get you to Heaven. If you are trying to build wealth and riches upon this earth than you are building a foundation upon the sand. Start building your firm foundation upon the rock, which is Jesus Christ.

Poem: The City of Gold

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,

what God has in store for us.

He has given us a glimpse in his word,

of his creation of the City of Gold.

We have no need of the sun,

for God is the light of the city.

Tears gone for our sorrows are done,

Happiness with Jesus, our Lord.

The City has twelve Gates.

Sparkling and made of pearls.

The City of Gold awaits,

Full of singing, laughter and joy.

No fighting, cursing, sin or strife,

Beauty unimaginable is there.

Clear as crystal is the river of life,

proceeding out of the throne of God.

Twelve types of fruit are on a tree,

from the Garden of Eden, The tree of life.

Sin has no hold, we are set free,

Peace with God our Father up above.

Each foundation is made of Precious stones,

for the City has twelve foundations.

There is a mansions that each person owns,

God has given to us liberally and freely.

Up there a beautiful place it will be,

Prepared and adorned by God for us.

All Christians will hear and see,

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Poem: The Creation

On the first day, God created the day and night.
God said it was good, because he created the light.
On the second day, God created Heaven up above,
He created all of this because of his love.
On the third day, God made the dry land and the seas.
Then he made the grass and the fruit trees.
On the fourth day, he made in Heaven a shining light,
one to rule the day, and one to rule the night.
On the fifth day, he made the fish, and fowl to fly in the air.
On the sixth day, he made the cattle, lion, tiger and bear.
Then he made, in his image, male and female.
On the seventh day, he said all is good and well.

The Other Side

This earth is where I reside,
but Heaven will be where I abide.
I am passing through to the other side.
Teaching others and being their guide,
Saints will enter Heaven when they’ve died,
If they are loving and repent when they have lied.
On our journey, Jesus will be one day be by our side,
Heaven will rejoice and the gates will be opened wide.
Love unending, joy fulfilling, peace indwelling, teary eyed.
Jesus will be standing there and we will always be at his side.
No more pain, sorrow or hurt, no more boasting, no more pride.
The Lord will gather the church, and usher it forth as a chosen bride.
