Be Ye Thankful

Ephesians 5:20- Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

A Christian should always be thankful for things God has given him; life, family, church, job, friends, salvation and his health. 

A Soldier for Christ

We are to be solders for Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3).

 Isaiah 54:17-No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Narrow is the Way

Matthew 7:14- Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

(This means one must follow Jesus and believe on him to receive eternal life.)  Narrow signifies how narrow your walk must be; follow God's laws and live righteously.

Building Upon a Strong Foundation

Christ the Solid Rock

1 Corinthians 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Build upon a strong foundation which is Jesus Christ the Lord.  Christ is the only foundation that you can build upon to get you to Heaven. If you are trying to build wealth and riches upon this earth than you are building a foundation upon the sand. Start building your firm foundation upon the rock, which is Jesus Christ.

Be Thankful for God's Grace

Thanksgiving is approaching and we should all take time to thank God for his love and mercy toward us! Take this time to enjoy being with family and friends and honor the Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus!
